Our own Managing Director Kaur Lass shared with the participants the proactive mental wellness approach based on learning practical intrapersonal skills.
Mental and emotional health has to be seen as a more holistic mental health apprach as up today our healthcare solutions have been focused on studing mental illnesses. Kaur's message was, we also need to study how to secure mental wellness as all work related mental health issues are preventable.
The new mental wellness approach is based on learning intrapersonal skills
Learning practical intrapersonal skills is essential for securing mental wellness at work, as it empowers individuals to take control of their thoughts, emotions and actions, promoting a balanced and resilient mindset.
By developing intrapersonal skills, individuals become more adept at setting personal boundaries and reducing stress. Stress reduction is the key to preventing burnout and maintaining mental clarity.
Practicing awareness-based intrapersonal skills also fosters self-leadership, allowing individuals to recognize when they need to pause and recharge, making them more proactive in caring for their mental well-being. Furthermore, such improved self-leadership encourages a positive outlook, helping people to approach challenges with confidence rather than feeling overwhelmed.
Ultimately, strong intrapersonal skills create a foundation for sustained mental wellness, providing individuals with the tools to navigate life’s demands while protecting their inner peace and emotional health.
